Reflections add an extra element of excitement to photographs.  They seem to captivate the viewers eye.  This is a good thing!

So when your out and about with your camera keep an eye open for still water then look around and see what you can find in it.  You will be amazed at the clouds or trees you will see.   So will be the people that view your photographs.

Tide pools are my favorite place to look for reflections but they occur anywhere water pools.  To see the reflection lower you camera position.  The lower you get the more reflections you will see.

When doing tours and workshops, I am always looking for tide pools that produce reflections. Besides being interesting to look at the reflection ads a foreground element the the composition.
