Philippine Dive Adventure at Azure Dive Resort. Includes 10 diving days and 32 dives. Price $2,450
July 18-31, 2023
I selected Dauin, for the location for my next trip to the Philippines because the diving is so much fun. I spent the last few years concentrating on big animals and wide angle reef scenes that I forgot just how fun critter hunting is. The dive sites in and around Dauin and Apo Island are world class, and will put a smile on the face of even the most seasoned diver. Nudibranchs, octopus, squid, cuttlefish, frog fish, scorpion fish, Harlequin shrimp, and Mantis Shrimps are ever - present on the reef and sand bottom.
I picked the Azure Resort because its owned by a diver, and designed for divers. It is not a fancy five star resort, nor does it pretend to be. It is a very good value and the standard of quality is high. The resort has a lovely pool and is close walk to a store and Thai food restaurant. There are some charming restaurants near by, as well as a great menu modestly priced at the resort.
