Using a fish eye lens for scenic beach photograph

Using a fish eye lens at the beach

One of the things that can make your photographs look unique is to use a fish eye lens.    In this image I used a 10-17 tokina lens at 10 mm.  The camera was a Nikon D300. In this image the water in the foreground and the clouds in the back ground give a nice balance.

For an even more unique look I cropped like this.

Same view but with less foreground and sky

Which do you like better?
